Jolteon...? by MegSyv Jolteon...? by MegSyv
This was SUPPOSED to be one of those Pokemon-Human things all the kids are drawing nowadays, but it really doesn't look much at all like the Pokemon it was modeled after.

OH WELL! It gave me the excuse to throw down a bunch of bright, obnoxious colors so I'm happy!

You can also see this picture (along with some detail shots) on my Tumblr.

She looks like she could be a modern/updated Jem and the Holograms character. XD

Those Pokémon-Human things don't typically catch my eye, but I really like how yours turned out here!

I love her face! I like the soft, rounded shapes of her face, and her eyes are super fun. I always like how you draw noses -- you make it look so easy to make noses with interesting shapes that work out really well on all of your characters' faces -- unique, but they fit and help to communicate something about the character. And then her smile -- I love the way you drew the lips! They have a lot of volume to them and look really convincing and lifelike.

I love her fashion sense! XD The big sunglasses are awesome and fun. And they work well with the fun, loud energy of the pic -- with the sharper edged shapes of her hair that's flying around, and the similar shapes (with a different feel) of her collar. I love how all of those sharp shapes convey a lot of movement, and give her a lot of energy. Even without the (really fun!) background, you get that sense of energy and electricity through those shapes and design elements. And the style/fashion sense you chose to personify her with was a really fun way to interpret Jolteon!

Suuuuuper cute. :+fav:

I love the detail in the lips and shades! ><  Yeah, I didn't know it was a pokemon-human morph right away...I think the term is ginjika or something.
