I swear, why do I continue to insist on using colored pencils on pictures that are inevitably going onto the computer? They never look as good as they do on paper, and I can never fully replicate their colors in Photoshop. D:<
For the April B round of MAX! Wewt!
I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was selected to do artwork for *kitsune-gekkani
. I read her comic Emma avidly, because it reminds me a lot of one of my favorite movies, While You Were Sleeping.
I wasn't aware that she was a member... perhaps this is her first round! I hope she stays for many more; her style would be a wonderful addition to the many others we have there already.
This here is Emma (for which the comic is named) with her lovely little companion Keslar (whom I adore with all my heart). She's a violinist and I really hope she pairs up with that cute brown-haired stubborn restraunt owner, because they'd really go well together. ^^ Hurry up and marry her, Theo, you hard-headed idiot!
I'd think this picture is pretty sweet, except that doesn't look anything like Emma. This girl's too tall and too thin. Blech.
Star pants are fun.

(If we ever happen to cross paths, my dear, I'll give you the original so you can see how much nicer it is without a terrible scanner around to butcher it.)
Artwork (c) me!
