10 (who?)
Good Morning by MegSyv Good Morning by MegSyv
I swear, why do I continue to insist on using colored pencils on pictures that are inevitably going onto the computer? They never look as good as they do on paper, and I can never fully replicate their colors in Photoshop. D:<

Meh. Anyway.
For the April B round of MAX! Wewt!
I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was selected to do artwork for *kitsune-gekkani. I read her comic Emma avidly, because it reminds me a lot of one of my favorite movies, While You Were Sleeping. I wasn't aware that she was a member... perhaps this is her first round! I hope she stays for many more; her style would be a wonderful addition to the many others we have there already. :)
This here is Emma (for which the comic is named) with her lovely little companion Keslar (whom I adore with all my heart). She's a violinist and I really hope she pairs up with that cute brown-haired stubborn restraunt owner, because they'd really go well together. ^^ Hurry up and marry her, Theo, you hard-headed idiot!

I'd think this picture is pretty sweet, except that doesn't look anything like Emma. This girl's too tall and too thin. Blech.

Star pants are fun. :D
Read the comic here: [link]

Emma (c) (If we ever happen to cross paths, my dear, I'll give you the original so you can see how much nicer it is without a terrible scanner around to butcher it.)
Artwork (c) me!

This picture was drawn for the Multi-Artist eXchange! Do you have original characters? Do you want to get fanart of them? Do you want to meet a ton of cool artists? Of course you do! Come join us!

I love your style so, so much. This is excellent work. I love the reflection of the housecoat in the pants, and the kitty is so cute!

The artist exchange thing sounds like fun, but I don't think I'm that great of an artist; besides which, I seem to take forever to get any art finished lately...

If you can, you should look into it. MAX is a great place and a great community. :)
The cat was so much fun to draw.

Scanners are evil, but artists can't live without 'em.

Anyways, the pencil work seems good anyway, evil scanner or not, and the body and face structure is great as always.

I love them jammies! (our word for PJs :D )
